Welcome to the Fruitport Fire Department website. Fruitport Fire Department serves an area of 52 square miles with a population of 21,000. We are located in western Michigan along the shore of Lake Michigan. The community is made up of a large retail commercial district, residential, and some rural setting. Fruitport Township is experiencing unprecedented growth. This web site will demonstrate that Fruitport Fire Department is involved in and well prepared for the growth of the community.

In this site you will be able to see our facilities, our apparatus, our personnel, and be able to interact as well.

In our Fire Prevention section, you will be able to contact one of our fire inspectors with any questions you may have as well as set up a free home fire safety visit. We can also assist you in proper location of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, emergency escape ladders, or help set up a home fire escape route with you and your family. You will also be able to see the dates that our firefighters will be visiting the local elementary schools for Fire Prevention month in October.

Also on our website you will be able to register for Community CPR classes held at our Station #1.
